CGTalk - dust particles?

does anyone know of a good dust particle tutorial? im trying to have a figure fly in the sky within a bunch of clouds and i want to leave a trail of clouds or something behind him as hes flying in various directions, does anyone know of anything? or suggestions?

ive done a few searches on here and on google and cant seem to find anything project specific to this......ive ran across explosion tutorials and dust trail tutorials without following in the direction of something but nothing particularly useful.

anyone got any ideas?

nevermind, i got them to go along a curve but i cant seem to get them into clouds, i dont even know where to begin......and i have trouble controlling the particles......they seem to move ahead of the character at a much faster for some reason....

any ideas?
