Im making a 51 cadillac hearse for an upcoming aniamtion. I havent touched most of the top of it. The back and front end will be severly touched up once i make the bumpers. Comments?

Max 5 + Final render Stage 0. BTW all Box modeling.

hmmm, it'nt that the car that the ghostbusters used?

nice, start.

tip:
use smooth on material ID or smoothing group (for hard edges by doors, windows, detail stuff)

3ddy - Actualy no this isnt the ghostbuster's car, but it is around the same time frame.

suttercane - Thanks, i justg dont like the feel of spline modeling, but this is a good challenege with box modeling it thats for sure.

not bad,, not a big fan of that mesh smoothed car look,, but Ive seen a few good ones, looks like your onto a good start, how detailed are ya going to go?

Ohh im getting everything on there, everything that will make it photoreal that is. And the meshsmoothed look, that will go away once i get the bumpers on and such. I wil model the frame around the bumpers because i dont have a clue to what the body looks like under the bumpers.

sorry to dig this up but I just have say this is cool. I LOVE the Cadillac! Can I just say that I think you should model a different one? Its just that I think that ones a little ugly. How About this one?

Hah, no thanks, im modeling a hearse for a reason. And you may not like the model of the car (The actual cadi. model and year) but i do.
