View Full Version : Blender Rigging problem

I am trying to rig a human character for the first time in Blender. It seems like everything is working like it should except that the mesh does not exactly follow the bones. If I rotate the leg bones by 30 degrees the mesh 'lags' and rotates about 20 degrees. I am not using IK. Is this normal or should I be doing something different?

I am soon trying a shot with blender rigging, can you tell me what resources were most usefull in learning rigging?

As you can tell, I don't have your answer ;)

Could be more than one thing, you weighted wrong, have multiple influences, your mesh is to dense to update in the viewport (for the lagging), etc etc.
Post the blend and we can take a look at it.
