This painting was done in photoshop. My first try at a matte painting. It turned out to be much more painted than I first expected. I mixed a couple of photo reference together over a basic painted sketch then I repainted over it.... I would not do it the same way again I guess but I learned alot in the process.

Your critics and comments would be really appreciated.

well...what can I say?...just 5* ;) it would be great to see the steps of the process, so we all can learn something new.

Beautiful painting! I especially love how the bottom portion is in the shade, which makes it feel very peaceful.

Nice painting. I like the composition, colors and textures.
But for a matte painting it is not enough photo realistic. it looks like more concept for a matte.
Anyway great job!

I agree with Kbarts about the photo realism but your work is lovely as it is. :thumbsup:
