View Full Version : Changing output framerate in Maya

Hello everybody.

I made a little animation but I want to make a "slowmotion" version of the same animation.
What I want to do is to make it four times slower than the current one so I went to the prefs window and then to the Settings category. The thing is that Maya won't allow me to set a framerate of 120fps (the higher value is 60).

Is there any way to do this? If not, will the "By frame" setting in Renderglobals allow me to archieve the effect I am after?

I know I can just scale the graphs in the graph editor but I don't think that would work for multiple-file shots.

Thanks

Yep, just render by frame .25
