he looks like that sniper from Saving Private Ryan

I agree with Caman0. Was the likeness intentional? Nice style...can't wait to see the whole thing

Looks good.
A few critiques, for your pleasure :
The distance between the eyes and the brow is a bit too much. I like the idea of exaggerating that feature, but you've gone a bit over the top, imho. He looks a bit freakish from the side.
His lips are too saturated.
The tip of his nose is a little too sharp. I also think he would look better with a bit more definition in the bridge area, but that's just personal preference.
And I think the mud on the side of his face should be more brown, less green.
Oh, also, his cheeckbones seem just a *touch* too high. Imho.
But other than that, I like him. And the concept intrigues me especially. I'll be watching this thread.
I found too that he looks like a guy of the movie "saving private Ryan"... yes perhaps the sniper, I don't remember...
I think his nose is a bit to smooth, and why cant you show us more his helmet ? I think it's a bit too dark...

yea!!! he is!the sniper of "saving private Ryan". His name is jackson! He is a very impresstive man in my mind, When I plan to design a guy in D-Day, the first thing appear in my mind is his face.
Kogepan:I agree with u, the distance of eys and brow is a bit too much, i will fix it later. but the saturat dark lips is his Characteristic. :D
JeP: his helmet is still WIP, I will show u more after i finish it~

Nice stuff, the resemblance is very good. If he is dragging soeone would he be slightly more stooped- bodies are heavy. The model is really nice though.
