Nice one, would be awesome animated.

one little comment, I would boost the poly count a bit.

Yes, I know it looks low poly, but believe it or not it is very high poly.

The paint fx brush looks like that. Think of them as 'segmented scorpion tails'.

It is a paint fx brush that has been converted to polygons.

I added some turbulence to the brush and then set off a 200 frame animation.

I chose this frame out of all the others because the shape reminds me of an underwater sea creature for some reason :)
