Title: Signos Walkwak
Name: Emilio Hernandez
Country: Mexico
Software: combustion, XSI
This 3d scene was inspired in the walkway that leads into our CGI area. I walk this aisle all days and I decided to pay a tribute to it. I used XSI and Combustion. Hope you like it. You can see the photo I took as a reference at the XSI area forum.
Hope you like it.

I tried to match the real photo out of focus.
Here is the original one.

Just trying to match real life :)
Of course changed the light to a more morning lighting.
Thank you for your comments.

But it's not out of focus in real life. It's only blurry in the photo, which means it was a camera error.
Good render otherwise. But fix the blur.

Yes I know, but I believe that real world is made of subtle mistakes. Not everything is as clean and sharp as cg. I wanted to mimik also my mistake of the soft focus of the camera when I took the picture. It is, without any doubt a picture out of focus. So does the render. The original render that came out is more sharp but I thought that giving it the human touch will make it more real.
Any way here is the render with no blur.
For the purpose of this image, I will say this is the unfix one :)
Thank you guys for your comments. After all, this is what art is all about, isnīt it?

whether it's blurred or not, you did a great job on matching the original and even improving it, i think.
