Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
I'm running Max4.2.6 with fR 1.3 on XP. Sometimes, when I try to render out a frame, Max crashes with the following error after calculating the photons (Ie: As it is displaying the rendered image):
Assetion Failed in
Paramblk2.h
on line 96.
The only thing I did to cause the crash, was add a small mesh plane as the ground in my scene. If I modify something else in the scene too, it seems like a gamble as to whether it will crash again when it comes to render it. The scene isnt even particularily complex, at around 20,000 polys. The assertion error tends to crop up at different points as it progresses with rendering the image, sometimes halfway down, other times before it displays anything.
Does anyone have any ideas as to the cuase, or cure?
Thanks
[Edit] Footnote: This problem happened a few times when ran on Win2k server too.
