KINGOFPAIN 04-13-2003, 05:15 AM ok, when i have an object like text from an extrude on the stage,if i rotate or move it around it gets skewed and all dis-shaped.is there a way to keep everything constrained or to keep it as its original form?:shrug:

Stage? Are you sure you're in the right forum?
The object shouldn't get skewed when you rotate it. It sounds like you might be rotating/moving the spline? Don't do that. Instead rotate the extrude object. If you move the spline by accident there's always undo or revert to saved.

Another option: activate "hierarchical" in the extrude attributes. This way the spline coordinate system is used, instead of the extrude coordinate system.

may sound funny but its not mean't to be but...which rotate are you using...object or view?
also which axis world or object these can all make a difference.
make sure youre using the rotate on the top right of the viewport youre using....also don't forget that it is rotating around which ever object axis you have selected...so this can look funny.
