View Full Version : Character - Medical Unit
rolhionjs 04-13-2003, 03:24 AM Hi all,
I'm actually working on designing special character for a personal project. This one will be in a kinda future area named -ZONE 27- where i'm gonna create the whole environment for a future scene.
I start with this character : The medical unit.

Wow, very nice :) Would make a great game model if it had a few less polys ;)

thanks guys ! :)
Well another image, zoom on the face.
In fact i try to mix both low poly for the armor, and hi polys for the face.

looks great...I would go high-poly for the amor...right now the poly edges are distracting.
If possible the only other improvement would be the eyebrows. Right now the appear painted on because of the way they are bump-mapped. It would look much better if they were geometry or something.

Awesome work man! No problems here except with the armor.... it just doesn't mix well, except it kinda does in that really bright pic. Other than that, it rocks!

Very cool. Boy do you ever churn out characters these days. I like his armour. Very quake-esque. Makes me wonder how the rest of him looks like. Have you modelled the rest of his body? Anyway, the texture on the armor makes me think there should have been oil-stains (or dirt) on his face. And why does he look so confused?
Great work
Hmm....dun no wat to say liao since i saw u fist thread.......
The mouth looks very stretched. And the eye sockets go in too deep by the inside eye/nose area.
I'm being critical b/c i think this has great potential to be awesome.
aplusse bonne continuation.
