Hey all,
This is the first time posting my pieces on here, as well as my first attempt at a robot. I'm still working on his legs, and he hasn't been optimized yet poly-wise. Currently, he's a mix of poly's and nurbs, i used whatever worked best for me, I don't know if this will be a problem later, but it's working for now. If anyone has any suggestions as to things that look off, or ways to make him better, i'm open to new ideas. The thinness of his arms and wide-ness of his fore-arm is intentional, whether he's a robot or not, he doesn't have to be physically possible :) Ok, his name is Q2, Thanks, I look forward to critique.

so far so good, i think. Do you have any concept sketches? That would make it easier to crit the design as a whole.

My main crit at this point is that I think the design (as realized so far) is a bit too in-the-middle...meaning that it is not really rooted firmly in a style. I do not really see him as cute, or mean, or super-sci-fi, or "realistic", etc.

I think that if you figure out exactly how you want him to come across, he will be great.

Thanks, yah, i can put up the concepts tommorow, the problem i had with them was that i did the original 3d work, but i wasn't satisfied with the way the concepts turned out in 3D, so i've kind of been revising him as a I go along, hence the different looks to him. Mainly, i just want to keep him simple, he's a side project that i can't devote tons of time to in the first place, and i want to get some simple weight animations done with him once he's finished. Thanks for the comments, I'll work on trying to define exactly what he is as soon as i can.
