Ok, not nearly as complex as a lot of the work here but I have to start learning Lightwave somewhere.

Sasquatch grass, Skytracer sky...lots of tweaking.

Let me know what you think and what sugesstions you have for improvement.

the clouds look a little burnt out,try making them less bright and more fluffy :) grass looks good though

Grass looks fab, always love sas for grass, a little more 'hilly' aspect to the ground might make it more visually interesting (a la Toys), but otherwise nice.

I agree on the clouds though, they both look too flat and too close the ground..skytracer clouds even in the latest generation with all the tricks still remind me too much of DKBtrace or Bryce.

If you can stand the time hit, it would be totally worthwhile using hypervoxels, maybe keep them a little more distant or broken up if you want to keep it simple, so you can just blur out their layer individually.

Do you plan to start adding other plants and misc. as you go?

I think I downloaded a video showing your grass some days ago and it looks great in movement! Sky is, as said a little to bright. Give Terragen a try to create some nice and realistic looking sky...

I re-did the sky in Terragen using the SoPack HDR output and then a utility to make a spherical image map which I then ploped into texture world. Even though the image was really-high res it ended up looking all blurry. I think I'll try the hypervoxles when I get the chance.

I plan on adding a tree, maby a stream, and if I get far enough...a person running through the feild. That'll probably be a while though. :)
