View Full Version : Soon to be modeled
DigitalSkorpyon 04-11-2002, 08:57 PM This is a character I came up with last night. He's far from complete but I think I've got a pretty good start on him. It was inspired a bit by the March challenge. I didn't have time to work on anything for that but still liked the idea. I hope to eventually model him in 3d but would like to know if anyone has any suggestions about the character before I start building. I'll update with pics as I progress.

I posted the above drawing in here but realized it was probably more fitting in the WIP forum. Just thought I'd show you the progress.

I've been posting in the 2d challenge area but since this thread is still floating in the 2d art section I figured I'd drop my update here as well... Any critiques are welcome. The more info I get, the better I can make this. Thanks in advance...

I wish this could be modeled into 3d work.
Do you have a plan to render it?
Nice job.

I plan on starting modeling soon. Only prob is that I'm trying to complete this in full color with photoshop by May 15th for the new 2d challenge. Once that's done I can concentrate on trying to get him modeled. Not a lot of time these days. Thanks again for your comments. I've added an update below. It's not a great scan, brightness is way too high, but it shows a bit more of the added environment.

Excelently drawn :applause:
however, I would add more contrast between the character and the background.
But damn good job.
