View Full Version : Seamless top and side of head problem
stegs 11-04-2007, 01:00 PM Hi, I have a problem with texturing the head in 3DS Max 9. Say I have a model and I've mapped the sides with planar or cylindrical mapping, is there a way to map the top of the head seamlessly with the sides but without the tight pinching and distortion you get at the top. (like when typically using cylindrical mapping). I'm exclusively using UVW Unwrap and not assigning material ID's for my model I'm sure there must be a way but I can't visualise it in UVW Unwrap. BRAINFREEZE!!

Do yourself a favour and get a 3D painting package like Bodypaint. Trust me.

Wont it be covered by that hat thing anyway? If she doesnt remove the hat, its a waste if time texturing it
