Hey all...

I'm sure a lot of you have dealt with this issue before:

I'm putting a path-deform on extruded text. My problem is that the capped faces of the text get ugly smoothing due to the bending of the flat polys.

Does anyone have a workaround for this issue?

Any help is appreciated...

Change the interpolation settings in the Text modifier. Sometimes this doesn't work with Extrude very well though, then you might consider turning edges manually.
