1->1.5 and 1.5->2 of XSI had substantial immediately recognizable advancements. Some felt 3.0 did not warrant a full version update.
4.5 Maya gave some concern that it did not introduce enough new but 5.0 seesm to have added what could be considered as fullfilling an upgrade.
I don't really see anything I must have yet except 'Automatic symmetrizing' and 'New symmetrized polygons' which I would have preffered was accomplished with a proper procedural copyOP anyway, and 'Mixer actions for multiple constraints' answering a long time need. Perhasp after Ed releases a review I'll see some more must have things.
Looking at the available new feature html and pdf list of XIS 3.5, do you feel it fullfills a .5 version update and is there something nessessasry for you to upgrade to?
