View Full Version : serious normal mapping help

i have this character i am working on and i can't get my normal map to work. i have done a high poly model in zbrush, imported it into 3D studio max, generated the normal (which looks good and clean for the most part) yet once it is ailped to the low poly mesh, the mesh looks all jacked up with seams. (i am not sure if it matters, but i only unwrapped half the model for texturing, normal mapping and what not.) i can't seem to figure out what to do?

below are some renders of my low poly with the normal map, which is first, on the mesh, and there is a render of the high poly too.

Help PLEASE!!!
