Is there a timeframe for this release? Can't find any info about it and am quite keen to see how it works with PFlowTools :)

Have tried emailing cebas with no reply...

Thanks,

Martin

LOL... they're already a year late, eh? I'm still surprised it hasn't been released for 9 ... they may as well just skip it since 2008 is out already (though they're done with the same sdk at least) no idea what the time frame is... I don't think anybody does at this point.

What do you mean by: "to see how it works with PFlowTools" ? It's a completely separate particle system with no integration / interaction with Pflow.

yes, very long wait...I have instaled max 8 only for this plugin...I hope that TP 3 will be awesome...my particle workflow today is a nightmare

Pf and TP are very different, Pf is event based system, and TP is rule based system..., so TP has a great fragmentation and physics tools

Sorry - I realise they are not integrated... I am just interested to see what effects I can achieve with both together - and Krakatoa as well, which I've just started playing with.

I really hope they don't go straight to 2008 - well, not until all the sitni sati stuff and cebas PSD manager is also Max 2008 compatible :-)

I probably shouldn't worry though... By the time Max 2010 is released (it will probably have morphed into another name change by then: 3ds Max X or something) I'll be able to get TP for Max 9 :D

Cheers,

Martin

Actually, thinking about it, I may have saved up enough to get Houdini by that point

Hey guys,

TP3 is surly long awaited and will be on its way shortly. The new power and feature set really will blow you away, so I hope it will have been worth the wait. We had a lot of really cool demos at Siggraph of TP3 and we will be releasing some of these in videos very shortly, to wet your appetite for the upcoming release. TP3 will be available for both 3dsmax 9 and 2008.

We are shooting to have something under the tree for you :) fingers crossed!

Thanks

TP ships with a full manual that includes a ton of examples and explanations, as well as 7 tutorials to get you started.

We ship with over 125 scenes that show as many features as possible so you can reconstruct setups and see how they work

It also ships with 9 training videos that go over topics from basic groups, to blackbox's.

You can check out www.cgfluids.com too, as it's a professional forum with a lot of TP users.

Lots to get you started! and there will be a huge amount more with TP3 :D
