Cool beans! I take it it supposed to be a guy? Do you have a more smoothed out render of it?
In my humble opinion I think the nose can be a tad bit narrower, unless you're aiming for bulky looking guy.
I'm looking forward to this progress, as it's similar to what I'm doing. (Well sorta.)
yea ill post some more smoothed versions and work on the nose

Add a forehead. He looks neandertalish. Work on the nose too.
:wip:
ill work it some more but rember this is stylize some its almost realistics hes a forrest guy so he will look not completely chizzled but ill work on the nose and add some forehead

You know.. I kinda like the way he's turning out really. Especially since this is a stylized sort of work. Do you have any rough sketches or 2d drawings you normally do?
i like the style - if he's a forrest guy, it looks like you're going in the right direction - has some similarities to the eskimo modeling in "ice age". lets see some updates!
here ya go keep it coming guys
im almost ready to put blind fold on comments please
comments i fixed the head so it dosent slop
i used a plane and wraped it around if you have any other sugetion please shoot them my way if you have a better way i wanna hear that to ok comments crits ...

perhaps model the folded cloth sepreatly, becuase its not supposed to follow the features of the face that much... a good example would be:This guy (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55657) Go check a looksi.
that really helps ill make those changes and re work the blind fold
ok i took bitmaps advice heres what i have so far but question how do i model in those folds is it just more cut pushing and pulling or something else
tell me what ya think so far
ok heres the new up date i help off on the blindfold to do the ear so hear it is im now going to start back on the blindfold it to is almost finished then on to the body

I'm all for the exaggeration, should be cool when animated as well. The head is looking good and on-concept.
Seems like model-wise you're getting some very strange pinches and creasing in places though..plus there are sort of abrupt transitions between the exaggerated scales..ie the ankles don't flow into the feet, and the shoulders and chest seem to become instantly massive on top of the waist. I think it would help the 'flow' of the character to work on that. The thread is long gone I think, but there was a superhero character Stipen did a while back that had a great balance with a tiny body and large extremities..maybe can find it on his site. The superhero challenge is also a good read for exaggerated but balanced forms.
I think aside from that, an unsmoothed wireframe would help much more as far as looking at modeling issues, it's a bit confusing to mentally backwards-engineer from the smoothed version.
I have no idea about the replies thing, but it is a lot to deal with and hard for everyone to reply all the time. Sometimes too I'll find myself reading along a thread watching the progress and not realize no one's replied yet. :hmm:
At any rate, never give up, never surrender
i love stipens work along with fellahs there my inspiration along with pabaloz (spelling) cool thanks more to come
