View Full Version : Character:Althea
Zoetrope 04-12-2003, 04:42 AM This is going to be Althea. She's a jazz singer. I'm going for a heafty physique, but not sereiously obese. I don't want to go hyper realistic, but more of a stylized look. She's looking a little generic right now, I'm hoping to give her more character in the face. Eyebrows will probaly help that ;)
I'm not too concerned with poly count, just don't want to go crazy.
Any C&C is welcome!!

Good job man, I like the style of it, and that's one clean mesh U got here .What I find a bit strange is the edge of the nose, I think it shouldn't be that straight, and curvin it a bit will give more personnality to the model .Any way keep updating cause this is commin along very nicely:bounce:

Thanks for the comments on the mesh spacemunky & bombyx!! I was trying to be very careful about the parameterization. Hoping to set myself up for sucessfull facial rigging.
bombyx>do you mean the nose is too straight on the profile or straight on? Or both...Now that I look at it it is perhaps a little too straight in both views...hmmmm...

I actually meant that it looks a bit "boxy", with quite sharp edges......it has to stay a bit like that to keep style in it, but it could use a little more curve .I'm waiting for updates.......so keep it up

minor tweaks aside texturing is up next....Hoping to give her hair more variation with displacement maps....
