Hello everybody, this question still scratches my mind.
We have a organic model for example. And we done it in zbrush but we didnt topologize it. Is there just 1 correct topology what depends on muscle structure? Or if i just make good topology at deforming areas is that enough? You know retopologize tool of zbrush you got the shape but u can make 2-3topology style what is similar to muscular topology flow.
all answers are welcome:)

Hi

Yeah, u need good topology if u want it to deform good. Its actually quite flexible, as in there is no one perfect way. To make it deform nicely, yes you woudl wanna hav good topology.

if certain areas of ur model are not gonna deform or animate, of cuz u dun need it to have resolution. Imagine a jack in the box. The box isnt gonna squash or stretch or anythin, so it can be just a regular cube. The neck needs resolution, so it can bend around, and the face would need good edge loops.

Hope it helps.
