Title: The Homer (The car built for Homer)
Name: Carlos Bisquertt Sabogal
Country: Chile
Software: Blender
Cars have become somewhat of a CG cliché, but since I was introduced into the world of 3D I never tried to model one...until now. And it had to be something different.
Unfortunately this vehicle made Homer's half brother's company go bankrupt, but that's what you get for letting him design the prototype:

hahahaha, that's hilarious!!
I love the blueprint
very nice render, but it could use a little more AA.

hahahaha, that's hilarious!!
Thank you. That's the kind of reaction I was hoping for.
About the AA, the original TGA render looked softer, so I have to blame the JPEG compression for that. I hope my work still stands on its own in spite of that.

hehe very nice!! Good model...
Maybe you need more samples in the glosiness of the car shader, the reflected white have too noise.
Good work!

Hahaha... great idea to do this in 3D. It´s from one of the coolest Simpsons episodes.
The perfect car, designed by Homer for Homer. The presentation layout is also very nice.
Great work... made my day:thumbsup:

This is hilarious, I love it!
But as the other people stated there are a few problems with some render settings... (which are not a a big deal, the result is good and funny)
Saludos de Chile...
Thats great!!! One of the best CG-Cars ever! The problem with the AA is said befor. And maybe more details for the interieur.

Hehe :D you chose the right car to build, this is great to see and a refreshing change from all the other standard cars everyone else builds.
Thanks for the good laugh and the nice image. :)

You know what? It's such a great replica that you absolutely have to add a 3D Homer with that great grin on his face, i still laugh every time i see this pic:
