This is a creature I made a few months ago with Maya. What do you think?
Thanks.

Ha! What a hoot when the image loaded and that snoz was pointing at me :)

I like the model. I like his little wing hands.
The only thing I see as a slioght problem is getting expression onto his face. Maybe some sort of weird eyebrows?

First of all, thanks for the replys!

I have a little animation prepared to render in maya, but now I'm learning XSI and haven't time to finish a couple of things.

Zukum, you are right when you say that I will have a little problem with the expression on his face. The character was design within a mouth and his face is always neutral. The only thing that I can change to give him a little expresion is close more or less his eyelids!

Pretty thing there. :-)

How did you do the lightning and the soft shadows on the character?

Nice design, I think you should up the poly count for the first image. there are no excuses for seeing nickling these days. I am not sure I am big on the design of the feet as they don't appear to be compressing under the weight of the character. Will you be animating him?
