I'm having trouble exporting my UV textured, rigged & animated model to 3dmax via FBX.

In XSI when I export FBX, there is always an error whenever my render tree has an image node connected ( to diffuse or Ambient ). When I remove it, all is fine. But when I import FBX to 3DMax, the UV doesn't seem to be transfered. ( Animation, shapes and skeletons are OK )

From what I understand UV should be support by FBX. Can someone confirm?

I'm just trying to do a format translation from XSI to Max.

XSI 5.11

Did you try the export to 3D Max from XSI 5?

I don't have max in the same machine as my XSI so I doubt it'll work. I also understand crosswalk only exports riggs as nullls. So that wouldn't work too.

I've been using FBX quite successfully for exporting to Max without UV until now. I just need to get the UV across together with my skeletons, animation & shapes. XSI simply gives error ( Argument 0 is invalid ) when my texture node is connected during export.

Anyone knows how or has exported UV using FBX successfully?
