One of inhabitants of " the Wooden world " - nomads. This place refers to - the Valley of Stone trees. Nomads graze Taks. Taks is an analogue of our cows (them it is visible on a background). They eat stones (more likely than minutes substances in these stones), splitting up their greater of a jaw. Having picked all the nearest rocks they have transformed this area into a place of " stone trees ". It is those began to use at construction, on stone quarries. They defecate "concrete", a fine stone crumb natural juices of an organism. Of their air bubbles (in which to be gas it is easier than air) do easy portable dwellings. In it a case of the house are adhered to rocks. After death Tak the translucent environment of a bubble to become firm, and bones keeping the form of a bubble allow to fix on them overlappings of floors. At transportation dwelling "connect" to Tak, filling with their gas then the house to become easily transported by air. After installation on a new place gas pump out. Amazing picture!

I like it a lot! The deep focal is great! And the colors are nice too, did you tried another gamma? Or you had this colors on mind from the begining?

The depth of this piece make my eyes hunger to see the rest of this place. All the tiny considerations taken for designs of the various elements really solidify the believability of this place. Wonderfully rendered, the image tells a story of its own.

amazing work!5*! your wire is realy interesting! I can see so much geometry in the rocks but in the wire there is just basic mesh, can you pleaseee tell me how did you get such nice results from that basic mesh? Also i see that the other rock formations are even simpler formations of what it apears single quads? Can you share that metod also, please! Thank you in advance! Great stuff!!

Good work. Though you should have mention your source of, mood, compositing, materials, textures and lighting, Weihua. He's a great concept artist who's work has been awarded all around and more than once right here.
