View Full Version : a problem with after effect cs3

hi everyone

being new to after effects makes me down sometimes, facing lots of issues
well this one is with after effects cs3 pro

i downloaded it and instulled it, and i had both ae 7 and ae cs3 on my system and they both worked

i uninstalled ae7, so there wouldn't be lots of programs on my pc, but the thing was that the afcs3 pro didn't want to function with me anymore :(
i get the following messeges:

adobe effects error: sfntread library error (83::4)

and when i click on OK i get the following

after effect warning: unknown BIB error: sfntread library error, CT,0

after i click OK on this one i get the following messege:

after effect can't continue: sorry, after effects cas crashed. see http//www.adobe.com/support/products/aftereffects.html for konwn issues. if you still can't resolve the issue, please conact adobe technical support (2)

then i get the send or don't send report thing, and it doesn't oppen :(

can anyone help here ?

Simple: you messed up your Adobe font system. Uninstall all Adobe apps, including Photoshop, Acrobat and whatever you may be using. After that's done, remove all config data from your directories (User Data\Adobe, Programs\Adobe etc.) and reinstall.

i reinstulled the old aftereffect (7) and it worked fine :S
i'll try what u have advised me with
