My final render for the challenges at C4Des.com portal, this month, the was "Castles", enter with a medieval castle art-concept illustration, Composition extracted of my head, modeled, Texturizing and iluminated in C4D, rendered in Advance render, color correction in Photoshop CS2.

I like it , good job. Very beautiful , lots of detail, good lighting, I like everything! :thumbsup:

I think youve done a beautiful job on the castle, but the surrounding looks like it needs way more tweeking, this is a nice piece but could be so much more.

The modeling and texturing on the castle is very nicely done. I like the german styled housing on top, even though i'm not sure if it would suit with the castle, it gives it a nice fairytale feeling.

For example, there would be a lot more trees/a forest surrounding the castle, as you have done some plantage in the foreground, but nothing more.
and even if you dont want to go for the forest look, the texturing on the rocks is too even over the picture, it needs variation.. at least a path to the entrance..

The tree next to the castle is imo way too big..

The person's clothing could quite a bit more transparancy, a better texture, i dont know what.. i am not a clothing expert, but they dont look convincing enough, this makes the person unbelievable.

I really like what you have got so far! Some more work on the other things than the castle and this could be an extraordinary piece!
