In celebration of the upcoming release of
Blade Runner Final cut, Warner Brothers is doing cool art contest.

The grand Price winner will get an entertainment system.

BTW me, or cgsociety have nothing to do with this contest, I just think it is a COOL idea.

If I get enough interest, I could organize a week of subjects in the
Forum specifically oriented towards BLADE RUNNER.

That way whomever want to participate in the contest can use the
Daily Sketch forum entry as a starting basis.

Again, I will ONLY do this if there is enough interest.
And who knows, maybe we can start doing this for other online contests.

Later,

Yep thats a shame..

Maybe just noting the existence of these contest would help people to find them. but actually making a contest of it here on cgtalk is a bit too much work to participate in the actuel contest.

IMO there wont be enough animo for this (no reply on this topic for a day maybe says enough)

It is good that you keep an eye out for these things though! If i were american maybe i would even participate, thanks!

I don't care, I think it's a great topic for DSG. I'm doing one anyway.

Hells Bells!! This IS such a cool idea. I'm thinking of moving to the US just so I can enter. I agree though - gonna do one anyway, but really think you would get interest if you did a week of BR stuff because it's THE film for concept artists surely?.. Maybe this thread just fell down the back of the sofa..

Do it!!

Without meaning to sound too much like a muppet, can I confirm that we can post a sketch based on one of these topics on the day they are announced - thus the 'daily sketch' title and then post a final image before the 5th...or can you submit final images after the event as it states no time limit..? Apparently I am easily confused! :s Sorry,

Btw for the last two topics I vote for Sebastian's Toys and Tears in Rain...
