I'm trying to get a midi controller with 13 sliders to control the motion capture utility. The problem is I can't get max to specify which midi port to use.
I can't use the default port 1 cause it's a gameport and i don't have that kind of adapter(I'm using a soundblaster audigy platinum and going in through the midi port on the front panel).
I know the computer is receiving the midi commands from port2 cause I can control audio programs that let me specify the port.
If you have any ideas on how to specify the midi port in max, please respond. Thanks.
