OK kids, the bell has rang, you had your chance. If you see something that you don't like, keep it to yourself :p Seriously, thanks for everyone's help. All the input I got here really helped. I've started working on a proper scene now.

Nice image, but the poor fellar looks like he has taken quite a beeaten... even smacked upside the head a few time. Ouch:thumbsup:

Great job. Definitly evolved!

It is strange how your images don't load until the second viewing. I noticed this last time you posted a picture and it seems that a few other people experienced the same thing.

will there be an animation?

Well michaeli, I plan to animate almost everything I model but 99% of the time, it doesn't turn out that way. So there in lies your answer, I suppose. ;) I do animations of a technical nature at work for 10 hours a day so it sucks a bit of the joy out of it for me. I mostly enjoy just modeling and creating my little fantasy worlds. It's a great escape for me. Thanks! -- dano

Wikked. Nice lighting too. This guy looks like he just got his ass kicked and that's believable because it doesn't look like the fighting type. Either that or he works an abusive, labor intense job. Which one is it?

I can't wait to see this in an environment.

Thank you Martin, I've admired your work for a long time now so coming from you, it's a great honor. I've submitted a new thread in this forum showing the beginnings of the scene I have in mind for this particular robot. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have to offer on the direction. Thanks again!
