hello all,

This is my newest wip. It is a comic book character i used to collect named Pitt created be Dale Keown. To tell ya the truth, modeling this has made me want to start collecting comics again!

The reason he is cropped at the waist and wrists is (you guessed it) its not finished past these points. I've been having problems with my links so please let me know it you cant see the image.

I have no experience with scripts and i was wondering if there is a script to draw splines onto the surface on a model. You see i want to draw splines everywhere he will have chains wrapped around him and use those splines as paths for the chains. any help would be apprieciated.

so hows he look?

that is sweet im a bit of a pitt fan myself, you got it looking just like him, but.... for your muscles considering the size of pitt you want to consider resizing pitts lats(side muscles) they seem a little small. wicked job though

I was thinking that too Tidus_44. What do you think of this one. A little wider torso, and a little bit bigger arms...

Ha! haven't seen Pit in a while!
Well the mouth size is dead on,:D But you should change th hair.

Also try making him with his mouth closed, that deep brooding look he (seldom) had..

Gofor it:D

Vash T Stampede - But you should change th hair.

yeah im not as happy with the hair as i could be. I think with a good texture i could pull it off the way it is but i would like to use some other means of doing his hair. Anyone got any suggestions?

I'll have his legs up sometime today or tommorow ( the wifey demands i get my ass off this computer to "shop" )

Dude, looking great.

BIG problem with the upper body...

He has no LATS!!!!!

Really, that's a BIG problem.

Other than that, he looks great.

i think i see a funky poly on the chin.

and for the legs, they look great but i think you think they don't look right because the calves.. don't look right... it's like they're too wide at the top, and they angle in too fast.

wow! i just noticed you posted another picture while i'm posting this. the torso looks much better now, tho the abs look a little stretched sideways.

great job :) never seen him before but he looks well done so far.

Bryan,

regarding your question about the chain/splines...

ScriptSpot.com has plenty of scripts that'll give you what you need. (I forget the name of the one you need, but it should be under the "splines" category)

I'm not familiar with the character-- does the chain stay tight or is it somewhat loose like a bracelet? If it's loose, you might consider using Reactor in max5 to accomplish it...

(if you still want to stop by Thursday, I could help you with that.--just email me.)

By the way, I think it looks great so far. Especially since the lats got added.--(he looked too thin in the lower ribcage area)

keep it up!

well heres the latest update , got the chains and hands done, got the feet and the claws left.

Jim, thanx again for the info on ScriptSpot.com. I downloaded a script called Draw Spline and it worked out pretty nice.

Im so psyched about this guy, i cant wait to texture and animate him. Lemme know what you guys think of him before i do(you might see something that i don't.
