Cool stuff man! The big guy reminds me a bit of Z robots (stunning game from Bitmap Brothers). Good work on background and atmosphere. :thumbsup:

On a crit note, most of your surfaces are quite matte in terms of shading - there are very little highlights and reflections. I think if you mix matte and shiny surfaces you'll got some nice texture variations and enchance the feel.
