Example of sketches and ideas with the first developement of storyboarding.

the story was originally suppose to be micro radiation that caused a mutation but later became over complicated and was simplified.

Test Renders and poses. Granted these weren't the extreme poses.

Extra Images can be seen at the end of the animation which shows a blunder of rigging and paint weighting.

I came across many issues when rigging the character 'Eugene' due to his shape.

Wary of render time i used simple coloring, also to make it more aesthetically pleasing in a childlike nature.

Software: After Effects,Maya,Photoshop

A highly coloured chicken, mutant vegetation, pseudo continental accordion music.... just your average day in the ghetto...

Includes 'Making Of' at the end of the animation.

Music and sound was aquired from www.sounddogs.com.

This was funny! I espesially liked the part when the arms came out, and when his mother fainthed!
I didn't quite see the conection between the first indoor sequence and the outdoor sequence, could it end when he get kicked out? It's like to different stories, but anyway, this is strange behaviour! I love it! Great!

it's great how you put so much life and expression in so simple characters
best part is after his arms pop out, and the family gets suspicious

thanks for the comments

they were originally aubergienes, after an obsession with eating them recently. but they diversed into being chocolatty things.

the characters expression were inspired by a reel of an animator that i saw cant remeber who it was though. but they animated the facial features simplicity and i needed that type of cartoon simplicity so people could appreciate the story move. truth be told there should be be an alternate ending, but since the animation was 2 minutes long, couldn't really do much more.

thanks again
