Hi
I have some footage edited in Final cut. It was shot in color but my mate wants it to look like it was shot in black and white. Last minute "creative" decisions grr. I have tried to do the grade in final cut I de-saturated the footage and used the luminance controls to adjust the levels. I can't seem to get the right look. It is the first time i have used the final cut grading tools maybe I'm doing it all wrong. I usually work in After effects, final cut is very new to me.
There a way to get a nice B/W look in Final cut? Color is an option but there is little information about it. "Magic Bullet Looks" looks nice as well.
