OK guys I want to give you a weekly update on how the coding of the voting app is.
This way, I can keep all interested parties involved on what is going on.
So if you have any issues, questions and or ideas, post them here.

Anyway here is the update:

What I have done so far:

Prepared the development server
Been coding the core infrastructure of the application (mostly code libraries )
Started working on the interface
What do you plan to show us next week?

Well I want to show an actual mockup of the interface running. The screen that you saw before were not optimized for an application, so they have to be redone.

Hey Roberto, maybe your app will also be able to display a list of all the CGT daily sketches ever, (sorted either alphabetically or by number :P) so we can check if a subject we are proposing has already been done.

Sorry if this idea was already discussed.

It is a good idea.
Part of what I have in mind is to provide the ability to generate reports
per artist (IE, Best reviewed, Number of Votes etc...)

You should have one for each year showing who got the most votes, who got the most sotw's and who drew the most pictures that year. or is that what you were already talking about?
