Is there a way for Mental Ray to just use Maya's settings to do the displacement? I actually tend to prefer using Maya for displacement cause I'm finding it is faster most of the time. But occasionally I want to render a pass in Mental Ray, and I can't seem to do the whole approximation editor deal and have it work. It seems like I have to choose one or the other. Is there no way to just skip the approximation editor and have it just use the same settings that Maya's renderer uses? If I just try rendering by just switching the renderer to MR, the render errors and fails.
