View Full Version : 2D Still : Poster for a song [nudity]
funnydoodle 04-10-2003, 06:34 PM here's what i've gotta do for one of my college assignments. I'm supposed to choose a music without lyrics and create a poster with a character in it to link with the music. In this case, i've chosen the music "session" from Linkin Park's new album "Meteora" and here's the design. I've to paint it on an illustration board size of A2 with any media i like. I've just did the layout and decided to paint it digitally in photoshop first before really painting it on the board just to play with colours. here's where im at, C&Cs are always welcomed.

Nekkid women are always welcome.
Sweet wings, not sure how they'd work for flying but i sure would like a pair. Especially if they came with her attached.
The left breast looks odd tho (its significantly higher than the other and the nipple is really far over) and the wings seem flat to the camera. The song is a bit hard to make out-is it Meteora? I'll leave the lenseflare for others.

thanx for the first comment! for the breast, the left one looks higher cos we're dealing with perspective here. notice the shoulders and the line of action? i think it's ok....... wat does the others think...?
and from what i know, nipples are supposed to be pointing outwards- 45 degree left/right away from the neck. unless there's clothes to push them nearer to each other......

I agree. There are some unnatural perspective angles going on with the torso. You should not be able to see both the navel and crack at the same time. As for the color scheme and paint job, I think it looks great.

As for her right breast, I would suggest not connecting it with the left breast. In the pose shes in, her chest would be stretched, in effect, separating her beasts. I photoshoped what I mean below:

actually, i tried standing up and pose her pose for myself. lol.... it's possible, so why not the crack and naval at the same time? go ahead, try posing as well! u'll see..... btw, nice mod with the breast...... thanx... i'll consider it.

Getting nice.
But fix the breast.
AND IN THE NAME OF ALL THE HOLY GRAPHICS, NO LENSFLARE.
:shame:
Lensflare effect is so the 90īs.
And there is something about the butt. Looks strange, canīt put my finger on it, but somethings wrong there.
Keep on the good work. :wip:
That would be the impossible hip rotation that your seeing. The belly is facing the same direction as the chest because of the belly button while the r butt cheek indicatest the hips being at 45 degrees or so to the chest. Also the top of the hip is way too high. There are several other anatomy errors but you can probably get away with them as style.

You should really change the problem areas that have already been mentioned several times. You've been working everything except the quirks! :shame: Fix those breasts and hips and you'll have a nice piece.
