View Full Version : Can seem to run zbrush....splash page closes.

I am running ZB 3, and when I try to run the app executable I get the Zbrush splash page followed by the prompt "initializing zbrush"...but then the app closes before loading anything. Any ideas?

What OS? Maybe try setting the program to launch in separate memory space. Etc..

I'd wager you changed opted to "Skip Welcome Screen" in the preferences (Might be called "Skip Splash Screen. Or Page.)

I just fell prey to the same thing. You can search the ZBrush forum at Pixologic for a new Custom UI sonfiguration file, or update to ZBrush 3.1, which is what I did. They seem to have removed that troublesome option.
