Hi Guys,

My question is a basic tracking question in AE.

NOW, let me give you an idea of what im doing. I have .MOV footage of a blank picture frame (in which I will comp a jpg) hanging on a wall. In this scene, the camera pans and rotates right and the said picture frame exits stage left.

I've created trackpoints that im satisfied with and i've applied them to the .jpg....BUT....when the picture frame exits stage left...the track points wont follow it off the composition and just stick at stage left.

The result is a jpg that tracks good for a while....but when the picture frame in the footage goes off screen...the jpg doesnt follow and then just shifts into some skewed perspective and hangs stage left.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated....I can post pictures if it helps

Just before you picture exits stage left, the one you're tracking, stop the track, then reposition the track point, but hold down Alt first, then when you reposition the track point somewhere back right where there's room to finish without sliding off the screen,\, the attach point will stay in the same place... and the picture the corner pin is applied too will look correct, it won't collapse or anything.
