I was working on this painting every now and then, during my sleepless nights... For the head I used as a base a raw 3D model of a dragon head that I had created in ZBrush (untextured), and then I shaded each scale individually, like everything else. The full size is 5000x2500 px. I hope you like it... :)

I recommend everyone to look at the larger version! The scales are fantastic, great work, so many details!

COOL, the lighting between two charactors are realistic. Also the pattern background is
resonable ^^ keep it!

Don't know how you kept your sanity painting each one of those scales but the work paid off, it shows!
