View Full Version : Wacom owners: How often do you replace your nibs?

Just out of curiosity.

I've still got my little pack of extra nibs from when I bought my Intuos3.

I use it more than 8 hours a day, and I've yet to replace the first one. It's worn down on the side, but still feels good, because it's been eroded to my liking.

Mind if I ask a dumb question here. The nibs wear down? well I guess they do since the op question. Do they wear like nibs on a fountain pen?

I have never replaced a nib on a pen, they seem to last forever.

I have an intuos 1, i lost the pen in 2002, got a new one and have not replaced the nib since. Do I draw 8 hours a day? No. I do something about every week or so. Plus i have mine set very sensitive.
