So,

I modeled a floor console of a car.
Then .. at some point I had to make aditable a simmetry. I modeled in slightly different way the rigght and left part of the console.
At that point i just wanted to connect, adn then melt "melt" the central points together.
The problem is Cinema doesn't allow me to connect those 2 pieces. I can connect many different ones, not those 2.
I tried to optimize, duplicate, remove hypernurbs ... but .. they just don't connect.
Is it a bug? Is it me? .. :-)

thank you for your help

Sounds strange but sometimes copy&pasting your problematic model into a new Scene Helps.
You could Post the 2 parts here and we could have a look at it.

I know, and I tried to opy into a new scene but nothing, I also tried splitting the geometry in different ways, like cutting on tto the other half, but nothing
I attach a little file
thank you so much for your help.

Only one half is in a HN cage.

take the half out of the HN cage
then select the right and left halves
then choose "connect" in the OM>Objects.Connect

delete or hide the original 2 halves
take the new joined halves and put them into the HN cage
Done

check your points near the cup holders to make sure they are at 0

Now you can do the same with the lid

Edit:Sorry, no zip as I only have the v10 demo and did screen caps
