I need a few models of boats:
1. Paddleboat
2. Recreational boats - whatever
3. Anything nonmilitary

I've checked my library (duh) and all the online places I know of (3dmodels.com, 3dcafe.com, and a few others). And only found one free boat (that was non military).

If anyone has one I would appreciate it, or if someone wants to trade a model. I found a few on Turbosquid, but I don't want to pay $40 per model.

arent there any "free" models on turbosquid? surely enough it can't be that hard to make a boat...unless you want it hi-poly with lots of details ...probably for which u have to pay...

try in 3dtotal, i saw free an good models to download, maybe you found what are you looking for!

Thanks. I found a tiny boat, but I am trying to get something larger, with at least a little detail.

What I really need is a large steamboat and a larger recreational boat. I could make them, but I've got a deadline and those boats (being 300' - 700') would take more time than I've got. There are plenty on TS, including a steamboat, but it's $160 (not bad if this was a project for a client, I guess, but it's not).

Anymore suggestions? Maybe it will just be many late nights to get it done?

Any one else? I've got a huge library of almost everything else, but no boats that aren't military...anyone want to trade?
