Well this is my first post here, been surfing this site for a while and just thought I would post my work.

This is my current project, a Nissan Skyline that is near completion. I have spent about 2 weeks on it and then got in a car accident and took 2 weeks off from working on it and now I just finish the modeling part. What's left is smoothing it out, apply textures, set up better lighting, and render the finals.

That no one has responded to this! Its a beautiful car (thats coming from a skyline WHORE LOL) I love that car...very awsome model...what did you use for reference? App? Method? Very nice stuff! Lets see more renders!:bounce:

I used a very low resolution blueprint that I found (there are not many skyline blueprints out there) and was suprise that the model came out as good as it did because some of the details on the blueprints were blurry as h*ll. The car was modeled in Maya using polys. Unsmoothed, the car has a total of around 33,000 polys, smoothed came out to around 180,000 polys as of right now.

Wow! Looks really good mate.

I've tried one myself, but couldn't make it to completion, as I can't really get the shape right.

I love Skylines too, especially R34.
