I've got some problem to find old (xsi 2) option in the particle's option pannel: has someone know where is the check that create a glow like effect on particles in xsi 3? and how to create a motion blur to the particles? (in xsi 2 there was the fake motion blur). I try to create the glow on particles with Property->Glow but it don't work very fine:D .

just select the particles, go to render, property -> glow

I've just said that it don't work very fine.

The attached image is the result of the property->glow applyed to the particles. (I sure you that the squareds are not the jpeg compression and my AntiAliasing is set to 3 1).

i've set the glow properties
opacity: 0,1
intensity: 1,7
shrink(pixels):10 (this is the main factor to give it a good look)

OK, However I find where is the parameter: I must expand cloud -> Particle Cloud -> PEmitter_Emission -> PType -> Renderer and press on Particle_Billboard, in this pannel there is the burn effect and it's exactly what I searching for. I don't know why in my render region with glow fx I've got these strange squares, but try to increase the number of particles in your scene, maybe it's a render bug with most particles.

yes, i remember the burn value from 2.0.1, but since 3.0 i didn't do so much with particles
at first the glow was also square-shaped....but after changing some values in the glow properties it looked really fine, i'd say

i don't think, this depents on the amount of particles
