Ok, these three things absolutely must be fixed in V 3.0:

1. Scene must remember that I have activated scrub audio
2. We need to have an option to zoom in and out in graph editor with pivot at the yellow scrub thingey and not at the far left. It works with the zoom icon but not if you ctrl+shift+left click in the graph area
3. Messiah doesn't remember wave audio if you save it as embedded scene. It does display name and path of audio but you can't activate it. You have to load it again. Messiah also doesn't remember materials if you change them within embedded scene.

Oh, and fourth thing I'd like to be fixed is when I have my mouse pointer above text input box I cant use arrow keys to move frame slider. Text input takes keyboard focus if I hover above it, it should take focus only after I click in it.

Most of them are ultra simple to implement so I would like to have this fixed in 3.0. pmG If you promise to fix this I will preorder today. :)

Thanks a lot !

The zooming in the graph editor, as far as I remember, has been fixed for the next version - I'd have preferred the zoom in point to be the mouse cursor rather than the yellow triangle - more flexible IMO but I think it's been done now.

I'd add.......

1. Removal or non creation of inactive keyframes option.

2. Get rid of the yellow selected KF. I find it counter productive. Example - you grab a bunch of keys you want to manipulate, forget that you actually have a 'selected' KF (could be off screen) and edit that in error. I'd expect, when I grab a bunch of keys that it would override the initial selection..... Unless I'm missing some cool thing that this special KF gives you - anyone care to enlighten me?

3. Can't put my finger on this one but when switching betwen views (perspective, camera, top, left etc) I often have to zoom out when I don't expect that I should have to. So say I'm looking at a characters hand in perspective, then I click to camera view and then back, I think(!) it requires a zoom out or grid change to get back to the original zoom setting - just slows me down a bit.

4. keypress attached ot views - I've assigned a key to top view - yet often it shows bottom view - can't figure out why....

Feel like I remember reading something about Microsoft more or less ditching openGL on Vista. I had to look around quite a bit to buy xp 64 licences when I got my new computer, because it's not the 'recommended' platform anymore. My bum microsoft.

LOL yeah... but you were the one complaining about it ;) hehehehe

Julez : No Vista :wip: :deal: :wise:

Seriously now... I personally dont think Vista is anywere reliable as XP is right now, not to mention it absorbs huge amounts of system resources that could be used for our graphic tools,...but people are free to choose even knowing it might not work as expected.

Sliders to remember their location between uses.

The abilityto turn off the active keyframe - I think it'll be really useful for some situations (still getting how to use it - see other post) but sometimes it's a PITA - hence a toggle-able command.
