Looks amazing!
I dig the leaves coming through the wooden gate :)
I love the wood textures and the foliage.

It looks like you've got one! It's a very cool picture. Hard to say were the rendering stops, but the background with the trees looks like a picture and somehow doesn't fit right in. The light seems to come from a different direction. But this is just a small detail in a great picture and anyway just my opinion

Love the wood texture and the leaves.
Gotta agree with wayfaerer on the background pic though, seems a bit off.
perhaps model some of the ground/trees there or make it completely cg
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! amizing!!!!!!

Great work, is this Brazil renderer? Is there sss on that statue? I agree the background looks out of place, but the angle of the lighting looks about right. I think it may be that the background is too dark. The camera is inside a shaded/shadowed structure, the outside scene should be considerably brighter than the inside of this overhang. So perhaps if you make the image you are using for the background brighter/over-exposed it will look better over all.

impressive!! The ambiance is amamzing and the materials are perfect.
I have to agree the backdrop plate dosn't look quite right, but it is ok.

^^:
very good .. overal ambient and convincing realistic env. modeling and composition ..
*.*:
.. maibe the statue .. texture and surface could be more convincing with dust .. and dirt .. and crackes .. .. and reducing the vitric marble too shiny efect .. also .. using a true statue texture insted the text like procedural .. might help ..
@.@:
nice work .. very ambientic .. very clean and dreamy ... keep up the good work ..
-.-:
so wath kind of 3d and render sof. and tecnics did you use ?

You might find from his website that he works with LightWave - this particular image is shown on a page stating that 'all models [are] rendered with lightwave'
To the author of the image (just to stay on-topic) : nice work!
Considering the brightness of the beams, though, perhaps a bit of glow on the direct view of the sky from between the boards ?

Very well done,
Love the wood texture on the trellis, with the paint chipped away and all, very realistic.
Adding some overexposure to the bright areas would add a nice touch.

Thanks for all the comments guys... you've given me a lot to tweak on this one :)
And yes as ZeBoxx correctly stated, it is rendered in Lightwave.

Awsome Image! What wayfaerer said about the lighting I totally agree with, I think it is because the light that is hitting the hedge looks like it is coming from the upper right corner of your image, where the beams of light coming through the lattice show the light to be parrellel (sp) with the lattice, (hard to explain 3d positioning by text :) The hand closest to the camera needs a little more detail I think. Some of the light patterning on the lower right makes the light look like it is coming from a different direction (it is coming towards the camera) don't know if this is a problem, might just be me.

Don
