View Full Version : Motionbuilder 4 for free on digitmag cover CD
digital_red 04-09-2003, 11:59 PM Haven’t seen this mentioned on cgtalk yet but it would seem that the one year freelancer edition of motionbuilder 4 is being given away free on next months digitmag. Cant see any official word on the digitmag website but a discussion on 3dbuzz forums shows a scan of this months mag showing next months contents.

Cool, I might have to pick this up. I've been wanting to give motionbuilder a try. I don't remember seeing this mag before, though. Anyone know if they distribute in the US?

[EDIT]
Didn't read thru that whole thread at first on 3D Buzz. Sounds like the magazine version is indeed the same, full-featured freelancer edition, except you don't get the printed manuals at the get-go of course.
From that thread...you can upgrade to a permanent license (which won't be available until later in the summer if I understand right) from the Digit mag version for $200. So same price in the end if you would upgrade the 3D Buzz version ($100) to Permanent (another $100).
Just copying the info here...Read it all on 3D Buzz ;)

Just to clarify, perminent BASE license. Some fo the most highend features won't work. (Like motion capture). A full list of disabled features hasn't been decided on yet.
