I am going to try and post my first character concepts,

nice, but the black is, well, not beautiful or useful for the purpose of presenting a concept to the viewers, use a more mid- to light-value and then see/analyse what you can improve...
also, donīt use lines exclusively, use a bigger brush and/or a soft brush as well to diverse your edges and get contrast :)
